About the Role

As a Graphic Design Intern youllwork directlywith ourHead of External Affairs and CEOtohelp us think through our existing visual identify and how we present ourselves to our audiences stress-test whats working and whats not advocate for necessary and impactful design changes that push our identity forward anddevelop compelling visualproducts across multiple platformsthat better reflect our identity and scale as we growas abusiness.

What Youll Do

Youlldesign anditerate onbrand identity elements including logos color palettes typography systems and visual guidelines.Youllcreate marketing materials such as social media graphics presentations print collateral and digital assets that align with established brand standards.Youllassistin developing mood boards design concepts and presentations for client or stakeholder meetings.Youllalso helpmaintainand organize our digital asset library and contribute to team brainstorming sessions and creative critiques.

What Were Looking For

You should havedemonstratedexperience developing branding and visual identity projects whether through coursework freelance work orpreviousinternships. Expert-levelproficiencyin theAdobe Creative Cloudsuite of productsis essential particularly Illustrator PhotoshopLightroom andInDesign as well asexperience in generative AI tools and workflows (eg.Midjourney Magic StudioFirefly).Familiarity withadditionalAdobe toolslike Premiere and After Effectsis a plus. You should have a strong portfolioshowcasingyour branding work and visual identity projects with a keen eye for typography color theory and composition.Werelooking for someone who can work both independently and collaboratively manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate designconcepts clearly. You should be receptive to feedback and eager to learn and grow as a designer.

Logistics

• Immediate availability.
• This is a paid part-time positionwith no set end date. Duration will bebased on the balance of ourcontinuedbusiness needs andyouravailabilityand goals.
• 1-2 days per week expected during the semester with the opportunity to expand toadditionalhoursduringthe summer asneeded.
• In-office workrequirement. Duties will be performed atRealtaFusion offices in Madison WI.
