Job Summary
Summary
This position is located at USAG Rheinland-Pfalz - MWR ROB Java Cafe Kaiserslautern Germany.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Collects sales slips total sales on cash register accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Sets up food service counters and steam tables with hot and cold foods and beverages. Prepares coffee and hot water for tea fills beverage dispensers with juices and soft drinks.
- Sets tables seats guests records guests selections and turns in orders to the kitchen. Serves food alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Presents bill and receives payment. Cleans tables and immediate area.
- Washes dishes pots and pans. Empties trash and cleans and sanitizes containers. Clean floors walls and windows in kitchen dining and storage areas.

Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. Requires constantly standing stooping bending walking and reaching.
- Work is normally performed inside with adequate lighting and heat. Care is required to avoid serious injury in food preparationand storage areas.
- This is a mixed job designed specifically for smaller NAF activities that require flexibility in employee work assignments. Employeesassigned to this position perform all of the assigned duties on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid USAREUR drivers license.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment (18 years)
- Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
- Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
- Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and/or nonalcoholic beverages.

- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time regular part-time and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
