Job Summary
A Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
What will I be doing
As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
Implement company statutory and legal requirements including fire health and safety hygiene electricity at work and all local by-laws
- Respond to all enquiries promptly
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel
- Carry out minor plumbing electrical and basic HVAC repairs identifying and resolving technical issues supporting the maintenance of guest rooms and common areas.
- Ensure good relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Ensure energy conservation initiatives are implemented
- Attend additional training suitable to the role
What are we looking for
A Maintenance Technician serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:
- Positive proactive and solutionoriented attitude with the ability to manage general facility maintenance and handle daytoday repairs
- We particularly value versatile and handson profilespractical individuals with a strong willingness to help attention to detail customerservice orientation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of plumbing HVAC and electricity; a versatile and practical profile with initiative a positive work attitude and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
Previous experience in four or fivestar hotels will be particularly valued as well as knowledge of industrial refrigeration cold rooms and cooling equipment. Skills in locksmithing or other trades related to hotel maintenance will also be taken into consideration.
- Full schedule flexibility is essential including rotating shifts weekends and public holidays according to the hotels operational needs.

- Ability to work on their own or in teams
