The Department of Energy (DOE) is looking for a dynamic executive to serve as a member on the leadership team for the Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF). DOEs Office of Energy Dominance Financing sources underwrites structures and manages several federal lending programs in support of large-scale energy infrastructure and manufacturing projects.
The Director Technical and Environmental Division (TED) ls a senior executive level position in the Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The TED evaluates the technical sufficiency and viability of new energy projects proposed by applicants for DOE energy loan guarantees.
The incumbent supervises and/or performs the following TED functions:

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs): Your resume should demonstrate accomplishments that would satisfy the technical qualifications.
TQ 1: Demonstrated expertise in the technical evaluation and due diligence of large-scale energy or infrastructure projects encompassing the full project lifecycle from conceptual design through construction commissioning operations and decommissioning.
TQ 2: In-depth knowledge of various energy technologies (e.g. nuclear fossil renewable grid transmission advanced manufacturing critical minerals and vehicles) and the ability to critically analyze engineering contracts materials and equipment specifications and operations and maintenance agreements.
EXECUTIVE CORE QUALIFICATIONS (ECQs): In addition to the Technical Qualification Requirements listed above all new entrants into the Senior Executive Service (SES) under a career appointment will be assessed for executive competency against the following five mandatory ECQs.
