Hugh Chatham Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physicianto join our growing team asCore Facultywithin the Hugh Chatham Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program. This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of rural family physicians while practicing in a supportive community-centered health system.
This position includes a blend of clinical outpatient careresident teaching and supervision and theoptionforhybrid inpatient/outpatient responsibilitiesorFamily Medicine with Obstetrics depending on candidate preference and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
Provide high-quality patient care within theHugh Chatham Health Family Medicine Residency
Hybrid inpatient/outpatient patient care and teaching.
Supervise residents in clinical encounters procedures and hospital rotations (if applicable).
Residency Education & Faculty Duties
Serve asCoreTeaching Facultyfor the Family Medicine Residency Program.
Lead andparticipatein didactic sessions precepting curriculum development and scholarly activities.
Provide mentorship and evaluation for residentsin accordance withACGME requirements.
Engage in continuous quality improvement and support residency leadership initiatives.
Participate in faculty meetings committees recruitment activities and program development.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
Board Certified or Board Eligiblein Family Medicine.
Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of North Carolina.
Passion for teaching and mentoring residents.
Commitment to community-based full-spectrum family medicine.
OB or inpatient skillswelcomedbutnotrequired.
