We are seeking a highly skilled and quality-focused Hematologist/Oncologist to join our cancer center team in West Michigan. This role is essential in expanding our services and providing exceptional care to the local communities.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Deliver comprehensive hematology and oncology care encompassing initial consultations ongoing treatment and follow-up management for cancer patients.
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient family and staff experiences.
**Our Oncology Service Line Includes:**
- Access to specialized services in:
- Radiation Oncology
- Neuro-Oncology
- Surgical Oncology
- Gynecologic Oncology
- Breast Thoracic and Colorectal Surgery
**Network and Support Structure:**
- A robust cancer network serving West Michigan and the Lake Michigan shoreline supported by a vast primary care referral system.
- A full range of ancillary services and clinical support including:
- Advanced Practice Providers
- Infusion Services
- Care Management
- Social Work
- Nurse Navigation
- Nurse Triage
- Opportunities for research and involvement in clinical trials - Laboratory and Pharmacy services
- Genetic counseling
- Financial counseling resources
- Program marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing outreach and patient engagement.- A dedicated team of specialists to facilitate coordinated care.
- Partnership with the University of Michigan for state-of-the-art research opportunities and resources.
**Qualifications:**
- Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve board certification within two years of eligibility)
- Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean malpractice history- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (active within 30 days)
- Copy of the latest NPDB Report (active within 30 to 60 days)
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
**Certification Requirements:**
- ACLS- BLS- Board Certification
- Board Eligibility
- DEA registration- Michigan State License
