Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - JIRA Cloud
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Tools Administrator with strong handson expertise in JIRA Cloud and related enterprise productivity platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience managing configuring and optimizing enterprise tools ensuring they support business operations workflows and stakeholder needs efficiently. This role involves platform administration workflow design automation process improvement and user support across multiple enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
JIRA Cloud Administration
Configure administer and maintain JIRA Cloud projects boards workflows screens fields and permissions.
Design and optimize custom workflows for various teams and business processes.
Implement and manage JIRA Automation for task routing notifications and operational efficiency.
Create dashboards reports and advanced filters using JQL to support analytics and tracking.
Manage user roles access permissions and license governance.
Enterprise Tools Management
Administer and support additional enterprise collaboration and workflow tools (e.g. service management platforms ticketing systems productivity suites).
Ensure seamless integration between JIRA Cloud and other enterprise applications.
Maintain system configurations improve usability and enforce governance standards.
Operational Support
Provide L1/L2 support for tool related issues configuration requests and access management.
Troubleshoot platform issues coordinate fixes and escalate to vendors or internal teams when needed.
Monitor platform performance and ensure high availability for enterprise applications.
Process Optimization
Work with business and technical teams to translate operational needs into tool configurations.
Analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Maintain platform hygiene naming conventions archival policies and best practices.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations workflows SOPs and knowledge articles.
Produce reports on tool usage ticket volumes workflow analytics and performance metrics.
Support audits by maintaining accurate system records and configuration logs.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Partner with project managers engineering teams operations and business users to gather requirements.
Participate in cross functional discussions to standardize processes and ensure tool alignment.
Train users on JIRA Cloud features best practices and new functionalities.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Good hands-on experience administering JIRA Cloud in an enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of workflow management automation dashboards and project configurations.
Experience managing or supporting other enterprise tools (ITSM collaboration workflow automation).
Familiarity with tool integrations APIs or connectors is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Technical Skills
Expertise in JIRA Cloud JQL workflows schemes user administration.
Understanding of enterprise tool governance access controls and configuration management.
Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g. PowerShell API basics) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Detail oriented with strong documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced operational environment.
