Position Overview
We are seeking a Japanese-speaking Clinical Trial Psych Rater to support standardized highquality clinical assessments within ongoing research studies. As a Clinical Specialist you will help ensure the reliability and integrity of clinical trial data by reviewing rating scales evaluating assessment consistency and providing guidance to raters on methodology and scoring. Additional responsibilities include functional assessments (e.g. mock interviews) documentation support and assistance with communication materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in required orientation training and calibration activities.
- Review case data and prepare for rater discussions ensuring all relevant documents and scale items are available.
- Conduct live interactions with raters to provide feedback on scoring accuracy and assessment methodology.
- Support rater performance through functional assessments (e.g. mock interviews).
- Complete scheduled rater interactions and assigned tasks on time.
- Submit all documentation accurately and within required timelines.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Masters degree (MA/MS) in Psychology Counseling Psychiatric Nursing Social Work or equivalent.
- MD DO or PhD preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience administering psychiatric assessments rating scales and/or structured clinical interviews (including SCID5CT PANSS CGIS CSSRS ADCSCGIC ADCSADL MMSE DSST VF and ADASCOG).
- Must demonstrate strong proficiency specifically with ADASCOG.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience with psychiatric populations.
- Minimum 3 years administering scales in clinical research trials (excluding graduate/doctoral research).
- Experience in CNS trials preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professional interaction across all levels.
- Excellent organizational ability attention to detail time management and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
Language Requirement
- Fluency in English
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese
