The Providence VA is hiring a full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist (DR/IR). This position offers flexible scheduling part-time telework eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program and no IR call. Also a Recruitment or Relocation Incentive is authorized for highly qualified candidates
Preferred Experience: 1) Board-eligible or board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and current with MOC; 2) ACGME DR/IR certified; or 3) IR fellowship-trained diagnostic and interventional radiologist.
The Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist:
-interprets radiography fluoroscopy ultrasound CT MRI and nuclear medicine studies
-performs basic and advanced image-guided procedures (CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages percutaneous biliary and urologic tube insertions and exchanges) only during weekday hours; there is no IR call (no nights weekends or holidays).
-participates in multidisciplinary clinical and educational conferences quality management activities and institutional committees-maintains specialty education and basic or advanced life support certification.

-Diagnostic radiology: Back-up support for teleradiology currently a one-in-five rotation.
-Interventional radiology: No call.

Pay and Benefits
