Mad Science of Hampton Roads has been delivering educational and entertaining science programs for elementary-aged children since 2008. We are looking for a self-motivated detail-oriented and reliable team player that would like to join our team in the role of Equipment Manager. You will be working in a fast-paced environment. Your main work location will be our office in Chesapeake but some driving to other locations is required.
- Ensures kits/equipment are in good condition for all programs
- Oversees and conducts equipment check-in and check-out procedures
- Ensure all chemical products are properly labeled and stored
- Serves as a substitute instructor when needed
- Completes background check
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Reliable team player
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Car and valid drivers license
- Minimum of 20 years old and 2 years of college OR equivalent experience in a similar position
