We are seeking a hands-on Facilities & Equipment Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on maintaining building systems and production equipment to ensure safe reliable and efficient performance. You will handle both preventative maintenance and urgent repairs across facilities and machinery working closely with operations to minimize downtime and keep production running.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on facility systems and production equipment
- Support building needs including plumbing electrical HVAC walls floors and roofing
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address repair needs
- Complete general trades work such as carpentry painting and basic structural repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including mechanical and electrical systems
- Maintain and service equipment (calibration oil changes component replacements line changes)
- Work from blueprints drawings and technical sketches to complete repairs and installations
- Partner with facilities and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption to production

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of HVAC plumbing and general building systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfortable working with a range of tools equipment and machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent issues
- Preventative maintenance and equipment inspections are completed on time
- Equipment downtime is minimized through proactive maintenance and quick response to issues
