The Strategy Office works closely with zooplus Chief Marketing & Sales Officer (CMSO) to shape the commercial strategy of the organization. We are building a unified commercial engine across Marketing and Sales and are hiring a Strategy & Business Operations Manager to help lead this effort.
In this role you will operate at the center of the commercial organization. You will partner with the CMSO and the Senior Strategy Lead to set strategic priorities lead high-impact cross-functional initiatives and bring clarity to complex challenges in a fast-moving business. Your work will directly influence how we go to market and how the commercial engine performs.
This is a high-visibility position with direct exposure to senior leadership. It is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to play a meaningful role in shaping the future of zooplus commercial organization.
What you will do
- Act as a trusted business partner to the CMSO and Senior Strategy Lead by shaping the strategic agenda distilling priorities managing key stakeholder relationships and amplifying the performance of the commercial engine
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives by defining problems building structured workstreams synthesizing insights and driving aligned actionable recommendations
- Partner across the commercial organization (Sales Marketing VM Product Finance) to translate strategy into execution resolve misalignments and ensure delivery
- Own critical initiatives end-to-end from discovery and solution design to cross-functional deployment while tracking outcomes and iterating
- Dive deep into data when needed (bonus if you can write SQL) using analytics and modeling to support commercial decisions and outcomes
- Build scalable frameworks processes and tools that raise the bar for clarity accountability and execution across the organization
Qualifications :
- A bias for action ownership and delivering high-quality work
- High EQ coachability and a collaborative working style
- Structured problem-solving hypothesis-driven thinking and clear communication
- A strong analytical toolkit with the ability to go deep into data and a sharp attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with SQL is desirable but not a must
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- 24 years of experience at a strategy consulting firm or in a Strategy and Operations role with similar analytical rigor
