Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Quick Lube Technician to join our service team. This entry-level automotive technician role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in the automotive industry. The Quick Lube Technician performs basic vehicle maintenance services while delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Inspect and replace air filters cabin filters wiper blades and bulbs
- Check and top off fluids (coolant brake fluid power steering washer fluid)
- Rotate tires and perform basic multi-point inspections
- Identify and communicate recommended maintenance services
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all dealership OSHA and California safety standards
- Accurately document work performed using dealership systems
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and technicians
Requirements
- Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Valid California drivers license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with the role including handling heavy equipment or materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
