Position Summary:

Alamon Inc. seeks a Engineering Supervisor for its Network Services department.
The Engineering Supervisor works under the direction of the Operations Manager to effectively train supervise and motivate their team. This role acts as the bridge between technical design accuracy and operational leadership. A successful supervisor delivers accurate designs anticipating field challenges and responding quickly while protecting live-network integrity. This position requires a professional attitude that will positively represent the Alamon organization to clients and the communities in which they work.

Core Supervisory & Operational Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to the field teams for project safety quality on-time delivery profitability and customer satisfaction results.
  • Fiscal Accountability: Coordinate fiscal reviews and performance assessments of all Energy Services projects while ensuring profitability on each job.
  • AccountManagement: Accountable and responsible for the success of all assigned Energy Services client accounts.
  • Business Growth: Collaborate with the Business Development team to increase clientele evaluate bid/no-bid opportunities and compile bid responses.
  • Personnel Development: Contribute to recruiting and hiring efforts while directing the training and development programs of new and existing employees.
  • Operations & Logistics: Oversee the planning logistics job materials and employee deployments for all assigned projects.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the first Point of Contact for customers returning all calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly status reports to HQ and maintain consistent updates with the assigned manager.
Technical Engineering & Design Accountability
  • Engineering Oversight: Responsible for the oversight of producing accurate build-ready engineering designs and maintaining standards compliance to minimize field rework while ensuring fiscal compliance.
  • BOM Integrity: Accountable for Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy to support procurement and field resolution preventing material-related delays.
  • Issue Resolution: Responsible for the timely resolution of missed items or items incorrectly ordered.
  • Change & Risk Control: Evaluate and approve design and engineering changes in an expedited manner while protecting system redundancy and reliability.
  • Live-Site Discipline: Ensure engineering decisions support safe work practices in live Central Office (CO) environments to protect network integrity.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely technical support to Project Managers and installation teams resolving engineering issues that impact execution and on-time delivery.
Minimum Position Qualifications
  • Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check drug test and MVR check.
  • Licensing: Possess a current/valid drivers license with a clean driving record and auto insurance.
  • Experience: Industry experience is required; preferred experience in large-scale project planning and managing multiple work teams simultaneously.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in engineering DC Power Plants within Telecom environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Must possess strong leadership abilities and a commitment to producing high-quality work product under tight timeframes.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Environment: Predominantly outdoor work (up to 90%) in varying weather conditions; may also work in partially environmentally controlled indoor environments with exposure to dust or noise.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs at a time.
  • Mobility: Must be able to climb ladders work at heights and be able to work in tight spaces or stairwells.
  • Visual Capability: Ability to clearly distinguish colors shades and brightness when working with multi-colored cablings.
  • Travel: Occasional travel will be required; lodging and transportation will be provided when staying overnight for work.
