The role focuses on early identification assessment and management of mental health needs psychological distress and risk within a primary care framework.

Day to day!
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessment therapeutic intervention medication management and care planning that promote wellbeing stability and continuity of care.
- Support individuals experiencing acute distress trauma and complex psychosocial needs
- A strong emphasis is placed on risk assessment suicide and self-harm prevention and timely escalation of concerns.
- Work collaboratively with primary care security staff and external services
Lets talk about you!
- Current AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience of which at least 2 years have been in a mental health setting.
- You hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent
- Calm confident and clinically sound under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a non-judgmental approach
- Passionate about equity access and high-quality care
