Job Summary
Our QC Analyst Cell Core team members are on the front line to ensure the QC Bioassays can be performed. This role will perform all tasks necessary to maintain the multiple cell lines required for clinical bioassay this role you would:
- Maintain both suspension and adherent mammalian cell lines.
- Support any thawing or banking activities for clinical cell lines.
- Prepare required media for cell lines.
- Follow and comply with all governing standard operating procedures.
- Complete laboratory documentation and review logbook data.
- Calibrate or verify calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
- Participate in required training activities.
- Maintain laboratory supplies.
- Interact with outside customers or functional peer groups
Qualifications :
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- Is self-motivated adaptable team-oriented andhas apositive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Desire to work in a moderately physical role that requires standing much of the time
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Fosters a healthy trusting environment and champions transparency and communication
- GMP biopharmaceutical or other related industry experience
- Familiarity with LIMS
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in biochemistry or other science related degree concentration
- Experience with handling of mammalian cell lines.
- Experience operating within a GMP environment
- Expert in pipetting and pipetting technique
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Additional Information :
The position is full-time Monday through Friday with the hours of 8am- 4pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
