The Town of New Tecumseth is looking for 4 Aquatic Cashiers to join our team at the outdoor Rotary Pool in Alliston for the 2026 summer season.

Under the guidance and direction of the Coordinator Client Services is responsible for the overall customer service function integral to the services provided at the Rotary Pool in Alliston. This position will process admission fees and concession sales from customers secure funds keep accurate records assist with daily maintenance and complete related reports.

How you contribute to our organization:

• Represent the Town of New Tecumseth Recreation Facilities and Culture Departmentin a professional manner.
• Be familiar with Recreation policies and procedures and ensure that they are adhered to.
• Report for scheduled shifts fifteen minutes prior to shift wearing policy approved staff uniform including lanyard and name tag.
• Assist in providing a clean healthy environment throughout the facility.
• Greet patrons as they enter and exit the facility in a friendly and professional manner.
• rocessing of cash debit and credit transactions. Balance of funds using approved cash handling procedures.
• Answer queries regarding the Pool facility and programs of the Parks Recreation and Culture Department.
• Assist in monitoring for unsafe conditions (lightning extreme heat/cold etc.) and assists other staff with incident and emergencies if required. Fills out appropriate incident reports for accidents and incidents at the Rotary Pool.
• Prepares statistical information on attendance and registration for programs and activities.
• Ensures that all facility schedules are checked daily and that all staff are aware of any changes.

What you bring to the team:

• Must be at minimum attending high school.
• Requires previous experience in a customer service-related position.
• Must have basic organizational skills to complete work effectively and in a timely manner.
• Must have cash handling experience in a high-volume environment.
• Familiar with the use of Excel and Word.
• Ability to submit a clean criminal record check upon hire.
• Wage: $18.07 - $18.97 plus 4% vacation pay

Hours: up to 24 hours per week - Pool operations are 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m7 days a week shifts will vary
Location: Alliston Rotary Pool (75 King St. N.)
Dates: May 25 2026 September 6 2026
