Quality Assurance Engineer x4 (18 months maximum contract role)

Youll work on complex high-volume systems where quality genuinely matters. This is not checkbox testing. Youll be involved early influencing outcomes and partnering closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable high-performing software.

Youll also sharpen your skills in a modern environment. From API and backend testing through to cloud-based systems youll continue to grow your technical capability while staying hands-on in meaningful work.

What youll be working on

• Planning and designing test approaches data and environments
• Creating and executing test plans and scripts with strong functional coverage
• Managing test data and validating outcomes against expectations
• Logging analysing and tracking defects through to resolution
• Partnering with developers to investigate issues and improve quality
• Producing clear test status and completion reports
• Coordinating testing schedules to maximise efficiency
• Performing usability and non-functional testing including performance reliability scalability and security
• Supporting internal quality standards and continuous improvement

What will help you be successful

You take pride in finding issues before customers do. Youre analytical thorough and comfortable owning problems through to resolution. You work well under pressure and adapt easily as priorities change.

Youll bring:

• 5 years experience as a QA or Test Engineer on medium to large IT projects
• Strong manual testing experience ideally within financial services
• Experience with Jira Git and API testing
• Testing experience across backend services and web-based UIs
• Confidence working in Agile fast-release environments
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting

Experience with test automation ISTQB certification AWS or trading platforms will be highly regarded.
