Job Summary
Job Title: Special Education Teacher Mild/Moderate (Learning Specialist)
Location: Denver CO 80241
Schedule: Day Shift 5 7.5-hour shifts (7:30 AM 3:30 PM)
Duration: 16 Weeks
Pay Rate: $50/hour
Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to serve as a full-time Learning Specialist supporting multiple school sites. This role provides targeted academic and executive functioning support to elementary (K1) and middle school (68) students with mild to moderate learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Math Literacy and Executive Functioning instruction
Support students across multiple assigned school locations
Develop and adapt individualized instructional strategies
Collaborate with teachers administrators and support staff
Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
Participate in meetings and required professional development
Requirements:
Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) License (required)
Experience with mild to moderate special education populations
Strong instructional communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently across multiple school environments
