Job Summary
SALES ASSISTANT
Description: This is an entry level position responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in all aspects of their job. Must be able to respond directly to customers/accounts and to all management requests with some guidance. They must be able to handle various office duties. This position represents the first rank of administrative support employees and will have a higher level of supervision. The applicant must have a good attitude regarding team work and work well with team members.
Looking for a candidate with a desire to grow within the sales organization and take on future sales opportunities that may include managing accounts and some travel. Will be required to work in the office in Clearfield Utah.
Specific duties/Specific knowledge of Sales:
- Order Entry/D365 functions. Enter sales orders with complete and accurate information within 24hrs of receiving the order
- Respond to account/customer inquiries via email or phone within 24 hours
- Identify accounts under assigned sales managers
- Establish a network of contacts for each account
- AX/Account Profiles completed and updated on a regular basis
- Run open order and shipped reports from the BI Reports as requested
- Know how to run read and understand the EXPEDITE REPORT
- Identify the specific traffic tech assigned to your accounts
- Account Knowledge-Models Terms and Pricing Order flows 1 2 and 3
- Know and follow sales general processes:
- Create new accounts in AX and Account Profiler
- Manage pricelists in Account Profiler
- Freight quotes
- RAs (Return Authorizations) and Freight Claims
- Order Entry
- Order Flow 1 2 and 3
- Presentation Plans/Follow up
- Project Requests
- Process work requests
- Participate in sales assistant meetings and trainings
Must be 18 years or older
Must have a clean background check
- Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager Supervisor or Lead
