We are seeking experienced compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at the VA Medical Center located in Charleston SC. As a key member of our dynamic healthcare team you will provide high-quality patient-centered care and public health education to veterans in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
About the Role:
You will perform the roles appropriate to a Registered Nurse supporting the medical team at the Chemotherapy (Chemo) Infusion Clinic. Your responsibilities will likely include:
Providing direct patient care: Assessing patient needs developing individualized care plans administering medications and monitoring patient conditions.
Performing complex procedures: Including wound care phlebotomy and assisting with surgical interventions.
Collaborating with the healthcare team: Working closely with physicians other nurses and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment: Adhering to strict infection control protocols and always ensuring patient safety.

Clinical Preparation & Assessment
Chemotherapy Administration
Patient Education & Support
Documentation & Coordination
Qualifications:
Active and Unrestricted RN license in any US state from an accredited institution
Candidates must have completed the Oncology Nursing Society Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration course.
ONCC certification is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
Strong clinical skills: Including assessment medication administration and patient education
