Position: Procurement Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Supervisor to join our team. The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process managing vendor relationships and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of successful procurement management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in line with company objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers based on quality cost and delivery time.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure the best value for the company
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate procurement needs
- Oversee the purchase order process and ensure accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise
- Review and approve invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and budget
- Develop and maintain procurement reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
- Comparing prices of goods from different suppliers analyzing sales patterns and inventory levels of existing stock and staying up to date on market changes that can affect the supply and prices of good.
- Responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders in accordance with his organizations policies and procedures.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
