Were Looking for a Pantry Cook
The Pantry Cook is responsible for the preparation production and presentation of fresh desserts and cold items made in-house. This role supports daily service events and banquets by ensuring consistent quality proper food handling and visually appealing dessert offerings in line with the hotel/restaurant standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce fresh desserts pastries cakes mousses tarts and cold preparations according to recipes and standards.
  • Assist with plating and presentation for service events and banquets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and pastry station at all times.
  • Follow food safety sanitation and hygiene standards (HACCP / ServSafe).
  • Properly label store and rotate products following FIFO procedures.
  • Assist with prep for special events banquets and seasonal menus.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor inventory and report low stock or product needs to the supervisor.
  • Support the Executive Chef or Pastry Chef with new dessert ideas when needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of similar roles and nature.
  • Previous experience as a Pantry Cook Pastry Cook or Pastelero (hotel or restaurant experience preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.

Schedule: This position requires fully availability during mornings and afternoons shift of 8 hours could be arranged between 6:00 am to 12:00 am weekends required.

Work Location: Miami South Beach FL.

Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of being stand and lifting 15 pounds or more

Work Authorization: Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

FSLA Classification: Non-exempt
