Responsibilities:
- Assist with the programming testing and troubleshooting of PLC systems (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens)
- Help with HMI/SCADA development and support
- Participate in fieldwork including installation commissioning and maintenance of automation systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams schematics and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems and work performed
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule every other weekend to support urgent service needs
Requirements:
- 3 years of hands-on experience with PLCs or completion of relevant training/certification program
- Basic knowledge of ladder logic and industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with electrical panels and low-voltage control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot control systems and follow technical documentation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel locally for on-site work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Automation or related field
- Exposure to HMI/SCADA systems and platforms
- Experience with Allen-Bradley Siemens or similar systems
