Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Sourcing and Procurement
To act as a senior buyer to lead / work on higher value projects which have a regulatory or strategic component to them require higher technical and sourcing skills (e.g. risk mitigation negotiation) and which will deliver competitive advantage and essential business outcomes (e.g. cost savings lifecycle value generation demand management and innovation)
Responsibilities
individual will drive the right business outcomes during the execution of projects and will support the local business in ensuring that the outputs of sourcing projects are embedded in the business to drive value through the contract lifecycle.
Fin Tech IT Automation IT Integration
not directly responsible for global Category Strategies and Commodity plans the individual will work with the Category Managers monitoring local market conditions and will work with Category Management regarding emerging opportunities or changes.
maximum contractual protection for the business considering the Procurement Handbook requirements and local regulatory issues.
role will ensure that businesses have operational accountability for contracts after signature and work with the SRM team to drive appropriate deployment of the supplier relationship management framework.
robust reports on progress against assigned sourcing projects
the execution of sourcing projects instill a responsive and strategic service and delivery culture which makes business stakeholders value Procurement.
the application of a range of sourcing approaches including the use of eSourcing to deliver
Category Management as required in the development and review of robust forward-looking category plans based on business and product needs supply market dynamics and technological changes in marketplace.
and build relationships with key stakeholders and business partners as relevant to role.
and lead various governance forums for projects as required
and communicate appropriate category guidelines into the business.
embedding of best practices and compliance to all Source to Pay processes through personal performance.
or exceed agreed savings target for each sourcing project.
negotiation and agreement of terms and conditions for in-scope contracts / support onshore major and/or complex contracts
complex business problems apply advanced analytical thinking / market knowledge and drive business outcome
all initiatives to a robust plan in alignment with business/process milestones.
Reach: Engages with Group-level senior executives including HR Finance Risk Legal Compliance and Business Unit Heads
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Post graduation with function specific certification or degree
relevant work experience in a sourcing role preferably with indirect services experience
Business knowledge and day-to-day understanding of Sourcing and Procurement activities
Good communication and analytical skills.
Strong analytics skills
Preferred qualifications
Strong customer-centric focus relationship management with key partners persuasive proactive and can-do attitude a must
Good command of MS Office Tools (i.e. excel ppt powerapps)
Exposure to other ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Coupa any other S&P tools is positive)
Knowledge of reporting using SQL extracts and PowerBI/Tableau is a plus
