Your future duties and responsibilities:
UX & Fiori Architecture
Define SAP Fiori architecture strategy for S/4HANA (Embedded vs Hub deployment)
Establish Fiori UX standards app patterns and design principles
Architect Fiori apps using SAP Fiori Elements and Freestyle SAPUI5
Define app extensibility approaches (Key User Developer In-App Extensibility)
Govern launchpad design spaces pages catalogs and roles
Frontend (SAPUI5 / Fiori) Architecture
Architect reusable UI5 components templates and libraries
Define performance optimization strategies (lazy loading caching model optimization)
Review and guide development on:
SAPUI5 MVC architecture
OData V2 / V4 consumption
Annotation-driven UI development
Ensure compliance with SAP UX guidelines and accessibility standards
Define theming branding and device-responsive strategies
Backend (OData & ABAP) Architecture
Architect OData services using:
SEGW (OData V2)
ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP preferred)
Define CDS-based architecture:
CDS Views (Basic Composite Consumption)
CDS Annotations for UI Value Help and Analytics
Govern backend logic placement (CDS vs Behavior vs ABAP Class)
Ensure transactional consistency and data integrity
Security & Authorization Architecture
Define end-to-end authorization concepts:
PFCG roles
OData service authorizations
Fiori app authorization objects
Architect SSO and authentication mechanisms (SAML OAuth)
Ensure secure exposure of OData services and data protection
Performance & Scalability
Define performance benchmarks and KPIs for Fiori apps
Optimize OData services (paging filtering buffering)
Guide use of caching draft handling and batch processing
Review SQL CDS and service performance
Governance Standards & Quality
Define architecture standards naming conventions and development guidelines
Conduct architecture reviews and design approvals
Ensure compliance with SAP Clean Core principles
Define extensibility and upgrade-safe design patterns
Operations AMS & Enablement
Define support and AMS models for Fiori and OData
Drive RCA for critical UI and backend service issues
Enable monitoring using SAP Gateway ST05 /IWFND /IWBEP
Support cutover go-live and hypercare activities
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Act as Fiori & OData architecture owner
Collaborate with functional integration security and BASIS teams
Provide architecture inputs for estimations RFPs and proposals
Mentor frontend and backend development teams

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
812 years of SAP experience
58 years in SAP Fiori / UI5 & OData architecture
Experience in large S/4HANA transformation programs
Strong exposure to AMS & Implementation delivery models
