The Role
Saverglass an Orora Group Company is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to oversee sales responsibilities for the New South Wales/Queensland areas. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager ANZ the Sales Executive is responsible for the follow-up prospection and development in value and volume of a business portfolio within the assigned region.
This is a hands-on field-based role requiring a proactive hunter mindset. You will spend at least three days per week on the road meeting with prospective and existing customers building relationships and positioning Saverglass as a premium partner of choice.
*The successful applicant will need to be located in New South Wales and will be required to travel to Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Promoting SGA business in accordance with the businesss strategy in order to achieve sales objectives
- Retain existing business and acquire new business opportunities by analysing customer portfolio and development projects
- Travelling throughout designated sales regions to maintain key accounts and explore new business opportunities
- Negotiation of pricing invoicing/stock invoicing conditions and storage/payment terms
- Preparing and sending sales quotes to customers for NPD while ensuring profitability and feasibility of each project
- Supporting the customers throughout all NPD phases from conception to completion
- Feeding all relevant customer and market information into the CRM system
About You
- Demonstrated and ongoing success in planning and executing new business development strategies
- Proven experience in a similar sales role ideally within the wine beverage or packaging industry
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships at multiple levels
- Highly self-motivated and autonomous with the ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills with a strong commercial mindset
- Excellent communication planning and organisational skills
- Flexibility in hours including occasional calls accommodate time zone difference
