The position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) Office of the Chief of Operations House Office Buildings Facilities Management Division.
The organizational goals or objectives of this position are to employ a sustainable facility asset management approach within the jurisdiction by establishing requirements then managing and executing asset management plans.
The tour of duty for this position is Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate the development implementation and maintenance of the operating components of the agencys asset management system: operational stakeholder needs and expectations asset performance requirements risk management requirements operational planning and control operational change management execution methods and asset inventory. These components must be developed in collaboration with trade shops and operational engineers.

Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
1. Designing and/or implementing processes for monitoring measurement analysis and/or evaluation of facility asset performance and progress towards operational facility asset management objectives;
2. Creating processes and/or programs for managing temporary and/or permanent changes to facility asset strategies stakeholder performance requirements individual assets asset management plans operational plans standards and/or roles and responsibilities; and
3. Implementing and/or updating operational performance requirement guides for facility asset categories.
Candidates for the GS-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
1. Developing a communication matrix/plan for stakeholders regarding facility asset management; and
2. Establishing and documenting operational facility asset management objectives for individual facility asset categories (HVAC exterior envelope etc.).
