The Assistant Director for Business Management within the Office of Information Technology (OIT) serves as a critical leader in the Office of the Managing Executive (OME) ensuring that OITs administrative financial and governance functions operate seamlessly to support the Commissions technology strategy. This role bridges operational execution with strategic priorities enabling OIT to deliver secure sustainable and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with the SECs mission.
The Assistant Director for Business Management role demands strong leadership analytical and communication skills with the ability to integrate business operations into a complex IT environment. By managing resources administration and compliance this position ensures that OIT delivers technology capabilities that advance the SECs mission of protecting investors maintaining fair markets and facilitating capital formation.

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community student social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
