Job Summary

A creative and inclusive 1118 secondary school in Boston is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Drama to join its Expressive Arts faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for a Drama ECT to begin their career in a school that genuinely values the arts and provides strong structured support for early career teachers.

The Opportunity

You will teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering a curriculum that balances practical performance work with evaluation reflection and theatrical understanding.

At KS3 lessons focus on developing confidence teamwork and creativity through exploration of scripts improvisation and dramatic techniques. Students are encouraged to take creative risks in a supportive and structured environment.

At GCSE students engage with scripted and devised performance alongside written evaluation. As an ECT you will be supported in delivering assessment requirements structuring rehearsal time effectively and guiding students through coursework.

Youll be encouraged to develop your own teaching style while working within a clear supportive framework.


ECT Support and Induction
