Key operational role supporting the whole school
The role involves responsibility for the smooth running of the school premises ensuring buildings and grounds are safe secure and well maintained. You will work closely with senior leaders contractors and staff to support the effective operation of the school throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management maintenance and security of the school site
Opening and closing the school premises as required
Carrying out basic repairs maintenance and general upkeep
Overseeing health & safety procedures and site compliance
Liaising with contractors and monitoring site works
Supporting school events lettings and occasional out-of-hours requirements
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Site Manager Caretaker or Facilities professional
Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills
Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Reliable flexible and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
