Professional Galaxy is looking for a HIL Verification & Test Automation Engineer Automotive Software on behalf of our client.

Job summary
We are looking for a HIL Verification & Test Automation Engineer to support an Agile team working with HardwareintheLoop (HIL) testing of safetycritical vehicle functions for the customer. The role focuses on automated verification o functional and nonfunctional levels using dSPACE tools and CI/CD integration.

About the Assignment
You will work handson with HIL rigs implement automated test scripts and execute verification of enduser functions. The work includes learning the customers workflow using provided requirements (FRS) and test descriptions (SWTDs) and collaborating closely with their teams throughout the project phases.

Key Responsibilities
Implement automated HIL test scripts using dSPACE AutomationDesk.
Execute closedloop HIL tests incl. diagnostics performance checks and fault injection.
Analyze and report HIL test results.
Use FRS and SWTDs to contribute to test case and test description creation.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate closely with the customers development and verification teams.

Required Competencies
Experience in embedded automotive testing.
Strong background in HIL verification.
Proficiency with dSPACE HIL simulators & toolchains (must).
Skills in test automation Python programming and HIL/SIL fault tracing.
Understanding of automotive standards (ISO ASPICE).

Preferred Skills
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics (brakes traction steering).
Familiarity with customers processes and tools (SETool GitHub).
MATLAB experience.

Location
Onsite presence at the customers facilities in Göteborg.

Duration
Planned until end of 2026 including two delivery phases.
