ROLE SUMMARY:
CSP Toledo Summer Camp (Inspired Education Group) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Sports Teacher & Boarding House Monitor to deliver and create a comprehensive two-week sports programme (delivered over two rotations) while supporting student wellbeing and supervision in a residential setting. The camp runs from 28 June to 25 July 2026 and the successful candidate is required to cover the full programme.
This is a combined sports delivery and monitoring role supporting students aged 1016 including leading multisport activities and contributing to evening activities and boarding house routines. Room and board are provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging sports lessons and hands-on multisport activities (traditional innovative and co-educative).
- Develop and adapt content to suit a range of skills ages and interests.
- Collaborate with the programme coordinator to plan and structure two-week schedules and create clear learning outcomes for parents.
- Implement differentiation strategies to support individual progress and skill development.
- Assess sporting progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Supervise and manage groups of 1015 students aged 1016 ensuring students are never left unattended.
- Take responsibility for a dormitory group run daily dorm sessions and provide pastoral support when needed.
- Participate in duty rotas (wake-ups mealtimes break times pool supervision night monitor duties) and support evening activities.
- Chaperone students on off-site excursions following safety instructions and procedures.
- Administer first aid when necessary and report injuries accidents and illnesses to the Director nurse and coordinators.
- Attend training and planning sessions (including safeguarding) complete required safeguarding modules and attend staff meetings.
- Support airport transfers on arrival and departure days.
- Follow staff handbook guidelines maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance wear the uniform provided and comply with fire and health & safety regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Degree in Sports Science.
- Strong background in education and training in sports.
- Free-time monitor qualification or experience (monitor/a de tiempo libre).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in programme facilitation and curriculum delivery (advantageous).
- Ability to supervise groups of 1015 students aged 1016.
- English proficiency: Advanced/Proficiency (C1C2) (required).
- Spanish proficiency: Advanced/Proficiency (C1C2) (preferable).
- Valid Spanish DNI/NIE (student NIE not accepted) or EU work permission.
- Criminal record and certificate of sexual offences issued within the last 3 months.
- Spanish Social Security Number.
- CV with photograph scanned copies of degrees and certificates and two written references.
