Job Summary
C&C Lift Truck Inc. located in Edison New Jersey is currently searching for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. Founded in 1977 C&C Lift Truck Inc. has continuously grown over the past 44 years to become one of the leading forklift dealerships in the Tri-State area and is one of the top Komatsu dealers in the country. Responsibilities:
- Contact customer for collection of payment for services or goods rendered - main responsibility
- Post customer payments by recording cash checks and credit card transactions.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales service departments and from customers.
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Resolves collections by contacting customers in writing and verbally.
- Keeps detailed records and status of customer accounts.
- Sends out monthly reminders to customers of account balances.
- Contacts and follows up with outside collections resources on delinquent accounts.
- Sends internal reports daily on monies received.
- Resolves all billing inquires.
- Deposits all check payments/Cash payments
- Handles all Accounts Receivable inquires.
- Inputs new customers into the companys software system.
- Monitor customer credit lines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in billing customer service or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong attention to detail
