About the role
Were supporting a leading European digital marketplace group (company confidential at this stage) that operates large-scale consumer-facing digital platforms across multiple international markets.
Theyre looking for a Senior Tracking Specialist to sit within Product Analytics owning tracking strategy and data quality across web and app products. This role works closely with product managers engineers and data teams to ensure reliable actionable data is available to drive product decisions. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role with real ownership and influence.
Tasks
What youll be doing
- Own and evolve the tracking strategy across web and app products
- Define and maintain tracking plans event taxonomies and data standards
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to ensure correct implementation
- Monitor validate and improve data quality and reliability
- Analyse user journeys and funnels to support product optimisation
- Use SQL to investigate data validate tracking and support analysis
- Contribute to a strong product- and data-led culture where insights are trusted
Requirements
What theyre looking for
- Strong passion for data analytics and tracking
- Proven experience in a tracking / product analytics role on digital products
- Hands-on experience with:
- GA4 / Google Analytics and app tracking
- SQL (e.g. BigQuery Athena)
- User journey and funnel analysis
- Data quality monitoring and validation
- Comfortable working in cross-functional product teams
- Experience working on complex platforms at scale is a strong plus
- Python (e.g. JupyterLab) is a nice-to-have not essential
