Job Summary
Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure If so CIP Terra Technologies is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Melbourne Australia.
Team
The Procurement Manager will become part of a growing and experienced team of professionals contributing to the delivery of large-scale projects of diverse technologies globally. Our goal is to assemble a motivated diverse and skilled team that works to make a meaningful positive difference for the planet. This position will directly report to the Global Head of Technical & Procurement and will be primarily based in Australia with travel as required.
The Role
We are looking for the Procurement Senior Manager responsible for all procurement and supplier-related initiatives within our Wind Onshore BESS & Solar projects in the Australian market. There may also be requirements to support other markets depending on future business needs.
The workload and travel activity will vary and flexibility is expected from both sides. We work in an environment with frequent changes so a positive approach is highly valued. You will have the opportunity to adjust your daily routine and schedule.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Develop procurement strategies for the given categories: Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to support project goals and financing requirements.
- Manage procurement activities: Manage procurement activities for assigned project packages to ensure timelines are met. Develop global standards and establish framework agreements.
- Lead Contract Negotiations: Negotiate large CAPEX projects strategic supply agreements as well as contracts to support the long-term operation Wind Onshore BESS & Solar projects. Liaise with contracting and legal experts and technical experts within the same function.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the procurement of given category across all projects and regions.
- Risk Management: Contribute to risk management strategies to mitigate procurement-related risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report KPIs to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities and enable continuous improvement.
You
The ideal candidate has 1012 years of relevant experience in EPC contracting and supply chain development within large-scale projects in Onshore Wind BESS & Solar renewable energy oil & gas or similar industries. You have a proven track record in procurement and project management with well-developed negotiation skills and experience supporting large CAPEX projects. You are a motivated collaborator who thrives in an innovative environment with effective communication and relationship management skills. Experience mentoring less-experienced team members and working cross-functionally is highly valued.
We look for the following in a candidate:
- Demonstrated experience in Onshore Wind BESS & Solar procurement and project management
- Skilled negotiator with a track record managing major capital expenditure projects
- Solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage budgets and financial performance
- Solid relationship management and communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver high performance
- Ability to adjust and respond quickly in a dynamic work environment
