Regional HR Manager

Our Complex Litigation Team is seeking a Human Resources Manager! We are looking for an experienced individual who can efficiently plan coordinate and direct the administrative functions of the firm within this department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Serve as admin for HR Systems within their division of the company
• Handle bi-weekly payroll including but not limited to: retro pay prorating etc.
• Work with Talent Acquisition - performing background checks onboard employees and more
• Administer benefits offered: PTO FMLA workers compensation
• Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and when needed properly offboard people. May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations investigating allegations of wrongdoing and terminations
• Serve as culture liaison; planning local events and charity functions
• Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and review policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Maintain knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field required
• A minimum of 5-7 years of human resource management experience preferred

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
