Job Description
Position : SDET
Location : Columbia SC Hybrid Onsite Tuesday Wednesday Thursday (and as needed)
Duration : Long term contract
Interview : Must be in-person (no virtual interviews)
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Required Skills
- 2 years of test automation development focused on Section 508 compliance
- Experience training others on 508 standards development and testing
- Strong knowledge of WCAG
Nice to Have:
- JAWS
- Selenium including Axe library for accessibility testing
- Accessibility Management Platform (AMP)
Responsibilities
- Conduct 508 and WCAG accessibility audits of BCBSSC websites
- Develop and enhance automation scripts
- Collaborate on improvements to a custom Java-based Selenium-Engine
- Identify automation gaps and non-automatable accessibility issues
- Partner with manual testing teams to ensure full coverage
- Support defect identification validation and retesting
