Starting salary is based on minimum education and years of experience and increases based on education and/or experience.

Overview: Protect mission critical systems at enterprise scale. Seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security oversight across a large complex software development and systems-integration this role youll partner with cybersecurity experts engineers and program leadership to safeguard high-value systems strengthen security architecture and ensure compliance with evolving standards. Youll shape and maintain the security posture of diverse platforms-guiding secure development practices assessing risks monitoring vulnerabilities and driving remediation strategies that protect sensitive data and critical workflows. Your work will span threat detection incident response policy implementation and continuous improvement across multiple technical domains. Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. citizens and possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.

• Implement and enforce information systems security policies methodologies and best practices.
• Perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) management remediation and reporting.
• Develop maintain and update system security documentation including SSPs and C&A artifacts.
• Collaborate closely with the ISSM to uphold the programs IA posture.
• Maintain the operational security posture for assigned information systems.
• Conduct security evaluations to ensure systems meet all certification and compliance requirements.
• Maintain technical records for workstations servers network devices and security appliances.
• Analyze cyber threats and develop strategies for incident detection reporting and remediation.
• Manage security related configuration changes across software hardware and firmware.
• Support evaluation and deployment of security solutions for multi classification environments.
• Develop update and enforce system specific security policies.
• Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms for assigned systems.

Required Experience:

• 10 years of hands on ISSO experience supporting secure system operations in isolated connected and standalone environments.
• 5 years supporting the preparation and maintenance of SSPs and other security documentation.
• 5 years administering tools supporting IAVA management.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience with security tools hardware/software security implementation encryption technologies and communication protocols.
• Extensive experience evaluating software architectures and systems for compliance with security requirements.
• Background implementing and enforcing security policies on large scale software or IT programs.
• Demonstrated success delivering day to day security operations for complex systems.
• Self motivated solutions oriented and committed to best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
