Nashoba Valley Technical High School seeks a dedicated Paraprofessional to provide essential support to teachers and students with disabilities. The anticipated assignment for this Paraprofessional position is to support students in their technical programs (Vet assisting anticipated assignment). Full time or part time (every other week schedule) may be full-time school-year hourly position involves assisting with IEP implementation in both general education and specialized settings. Responsibilities include maintaining student confidentiality delivering tailored instruction fostering student social-emotional and academic growth implementing behavior plans and IEP accommodations collecting data on student progress and collaborating with educators. This role may involve working directly with an individual student (1:1) providing support in academic classes or assisting in vocational settings. Specific assignments are subject to change based on student needs. The paraprofessional also performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Special Education Coordinator or the Director of Student ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a Massachusetts-endorsed paraprofessional assessment (ParaPro or WorkKeys) completed 48 college credits or an associates degree and prior experience with high school students with disabilities.
