Job Summary

Must-have experience:

- 3 years building complex production applications

- Strong Ruby on Rails experience

- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs

- Solid understanding of Git code reviews and documentation

- Experience collaborating with PMs designers and other engineers

- Consulting / agency experience or comfort working across different client projects

Nice to have:

- Experience with microservices

- Containerization and amp; scaling (Docker Kubernetes or similar)

- Exposure to 12-factor apps

- Some experience with Python or frontend MVC frameworks

- Mentorship or tech leadership exposure

- FinTech or data-sensitive domains

- Open-source contributions or public technical work

Tech stack (expanded)

- Backend: Ruby Ruby on Rails

- APIs: RESTful services microservices-style architecture

- Infrastructure: Containers (Docker) orchestration experience is a plus

- Dev practices: Git code reviews documentation 12-factor apps

- Cross-stack exposure: Python and/or frontend MVC frameworks (nice to have)
