Postdoctoral Researcher in Mathematics (Combinatorics Topology and Algorithms) (m/f/d)

(Full-time 385 hours/week limited for 2 years)

Your tasks:

• Conduct independent research in mathematics with a focus on discrete combinatorial algebraic or topological structures.

• Develop theoretical and algorithmic methods for the analysis and classification of structured discrete objects.

• Investigate invariants symmetries and structural properties arising in combinatorics topology or related areas.

• Contribute to high-quality research publications and present results at international conferences.

• Collaborate with members of the research group and contribute to the scientific life of an international academic environment.

Your profile:

• PhD in Mathematics Theoretical Computer Science Mathematical Physics or a closely related field.

• Strong background in at least one of the following areas: combinatorics graph theory topology discrete geometry or theoretical aspects of algorithms.

• Ability to conduct independent theoretical research demonstrated by publications or research potential.

• Interest in working at the interface of structure theory and algorithms.

• Very good command of written and spoken English.
