This is a 12 month temporary opportunity based in the Calgary or Saskatoon corporate offices.

What Youll Do:

Schedule meetings with internal and external parties.
Work with process owners to document financial processes.
Assist in assessing the control design over new and changing financial processes and controls.
Test the operating effectiveness of the financial controls over financial reporting.
Advise process owners on process documentation and the assessment of the adequacy of financial controls within specific process areas.
Maintain Financial control documentation.

What Youll Bring:

Recent graduate in Business Accounting Finance Commerce or equivalent degree program.
Will work towards a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or equivalent designation.
Effective interpersonal and communication for interacting with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines as well as flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
Commitment to deadlines and attention to detail.
Computer skills including proficiency Microsoft Office Suite of products ERP experience such as Oracle SAP or Peoplesoft would be an asset.
Previous financial control or audit experience specifically related to documentation and testing of financial controls would be an asset.
