Position: Accounting & Audit Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50$105/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy completeness and compliance with GAAP IFRS and regulatory frameworks.
• Calibrate AI decision-making processes in tasks like journal entry preparation reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Simulate and audit workflows related to the financial close process consolidations tax filings and internal controls.
• Provide domain-specific feedback on AI-generated financial statements disclosures audit working papers and management reports.
• Collaborate asynchronously with product and AI teams to refine systems based on accounting best practices and real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 2 years of professional accounting experience at top-tier public accounting firms or Fortune 500 corporate finance/accounting departments.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related quantitative field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA CA CMA or ACCA.
• Strong technical accounting proficiency including knowledge of GAAP IFRS and other relevant frameworks.
• Expertise in core accounting processes like financial reporting budgeting tax compliance and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in specialized areas such as forensic accounting government accounting nonprofit/fund accounting or cross-border accounting.

Compensation & Legal

• Hourly Rate: Competitive and based on experience ($50$105/hour)
• Performance Bonus: Top performers receive a weekly bonus incentive in the range of $20$100/hour on top of their pay rate.
