Position Summary

Vertiv is seeking a Materials and Manufacturing Planning Analyst to provide insight into materials and manufacturing performance and drive measurable improvements in customer on-time delivery.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track delivery KPIs (On-Time Delivery rates service levels) using real-time data.
  • Problem Solving: Conduct deep-dive trend and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Planning Purchasing Manufacturing Procurement Logistics Engineering and Customer Service to align on underlying root causes and actions plans.
  • Data Aggregation: Collect clean and validate large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy consistency and completeness.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards reports and visualizations (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to track KPIs and business performance.
  • Communication: Create summaries and presentations on performance trends and actionable insights for stakeholders.

Your expertise will help shape Vertivs materials planning framework and support continuous improvement initiatives to achieve global operations goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Statistics Computer Science Supply Chain Engineering or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 35 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or analytics engineering roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel SQL and at least one major BI tool (Power BI Tableau or Qlik).
  • Strong experience in data modeling visualization and storytelling.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases data integration and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics or automation preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain analytics is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
  • Detail-oriented curious and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments.


Physical & Environmental Demands

  • The role is primarily based in an office environment but may requiring site visits and interaction with production teams.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
  • The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
  • Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings presentations or site visits.
  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 5%
