Pay: 15.65 per hour 3000 welcome bonus
Hours: 160 hours per month

The Home

This is a 3-bed childrens residential home in Liverpool (L19) supporting young people aged 817 with EBD. The home provides a safe structured and nurturing environment focused on stability safeguarding and positive outcomes.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager and help lead the home day-to-day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the smooth running of the home

• Leading shifts and modelling high standards of practice

• Mentoring coaching and supervising staff to ensure consistent care

• Supporting young people with EBD through trauma-informed child-centred practice

• Maintaining safeguarding standards and contributing to inspection readiness

• Supporting care planning risk management and placement stability

• Helping to build a positive culture where young people feel safe heard and supported

Requirements

• Level 3 Children & Young Persons Workforce (essential)

• Experience within Ofsted-registered childrens residential care

• Strong safeguarding knowledge and confident decision-making

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A calm consistent and supportive leadership style

You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent).
Candidates with only HealthCare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
