Key Responsibilities

Design and implement security architectures and controls
Monitor systems for security breaches and suspicious activity
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Investigate and respond to security incidents
Implement and manage firewalls IDS/IPS and endpoint security
Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards
Conduct risk assessments and security audits
Work with DevOps and application teams to integrate security by design
Maintain security documentation and incident reports
Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends

Required Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of network security concepts
Security tools: SIEM (Splunk QRadar) IDS/IPS EDR
Firewalls & VPNs: Palo Alto Fortinet Cisco
Operating Systems: Linux Windows
Cloud Security: AWS / Azure / GCP security services
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Vulnerability tools: Nessus Qualys Burp Suite
Encryption PKI SSL/TLS
