DescriptionThe Head of Marketing SEA will lead the development and execution of brand and channel activation for the full CooperVision portfolio with key focus in Malaysia and Singapore markets as well as professional services and training offerings that support customer engagement. The role is accountable for driving brand preference of both eye care professionals and consumers strengthening market position and ensuring alignment with the companys commercial objectives.
This role serves as a strategic partner to the General Manager with responsibility for delivering key commercial objectives including net sales achievement sustainable market share growth competitive portfolio development customer partnership and channel management. Gain a deep understanding of market dynamics and channel/customer insights to provide tangible structured action plans for sales execution. Lead inspire influence and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (Regional Marketing Supply Chain RAQA and Sales Teams) to drive an aligned marketing vision.
ResponsibilitiesStrategy and Planning
Lead the Long Range Strategic Planning (LRSP) process including portfolio and pricing development over the LRSP horizon in close collaboration with Sales team
Drive in partnership with Channel Managers the channel annual account planning process to align account strategies and ensure cross-functional alignment on customer strategies and plans for new and existing products
Partner with key customers and CV business team through Customer Business Teams (CBT) to create meaningful Joint Business Plans (JBP)
Responsible for the initiation and facilitation of relevant new product introduction through the NPLCO process
Category & Customer Strategy
Builds a deep knowledge of industry category and channel dynamics customer growth strategies and competitor programs to provide insights that inform the development of market portfolio and customer marketing strategies and programs.
Use market research to understand usage and wearing habits develop strategies to meet patient needs and capture opportunities.
Develop and execute comprehensive brand-building plans aligned with company growth objectives.
Portfolio Marketing and Activation Planning
Responsible for the portfolio strategy of assigned markets such as product positioning pricing and messaging from concept through to execution and customer activation
Lead launch planning and initiatives to grow market share and brand equity
Oversee integrated marketing campaigns digital content and CRM strategies to maximize product trial acquisition retention and loyalty.
Professional Endorsement
Collaborate with the Professional Services team on internal and external communication programs that strengthen CooperVisions relationships with the optometry community.
Increase brand preference and visibility among customers academic institutions professional bodies andkey opinion leaders.
Drive advocacy from eye care professionals to increase adoption of CooperVision products.
Represent CooperVision at selected industry and professional meetings.
Budget & Performance
Manage marketing budgets and P&L track KPIs and ensure marketing initiatives deliver ROI and profitability.
Optimize investment based on channel and brand objectives and competitor insights.
Make pilot or targeted investments to capture commercial opportunities from both customer and consumer perspectives.

- Experience with marketing-related contract management (e.g. agency or vendor negotiations).
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related business field; MBA preferred.
