This is a hybrid role requiring presence in our Dublin office threetimes per week.

In this roleyoullbridge Product Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design and implement scalablesystems that power our platform.Youllcollaborate across Product Engineering Platform Engineering and Cloudteams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Own Technical Vision for a Product Domain: Take end-to-end technical ownership of a strategic product areadefiningits architectural direction and serving as the go-to technical leader for that domains evolution and success
Shape Product Strategy: Directly influence product roadmap and feature development by providing architectural insights and technical feasibility assessments that guide strategic product decisions
Drive Cross-Cutting Technical Excellence: Build deepexpertiseand set standards for critical architectural concerns spanning Product and Platform teamsincluding security scalability observability and integrations.
The skills you will bring:
At least 8 years of experience working in technology or relevant business
Provenexperienceeffectively communicating technical designs and trade-offs to senior leadership and business stakeholders buildingtrustand securing buy-in for architectural decisions
Proven ability to design scalable resilient distributed systems and make architectural trade-offs that balance performance maintainability and time-to-market
Deep experience with cloud infrastructure (preferablyAWS) and modern cloud-native architectures including microservices containerization and orchestration
API & Integration Design: Strong understanding of API design patterns integration architectures (REST webhooks event-driven) and third-party integration best practices
Awarenessof AI/ML infrastructure requirements including model serving data pipelines and the unique scalability and performance considerations of AI workloads
Commitment to continuous learning experimenting withnew technologies and applying innovative approaches to problem-solving.
Achievements:
You have a BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
Architected and worked hands-on with teams to deliver a substantialplatform capability or system improvementdemonstratingmeasurable impact on system performance reliability ordeveloper productivity
Led effective collaboration across Product Engineering and Platform teams enabling the delivery of complex technical initiatives by removing blockers early aligning architectural decisions and ensuring smooth execution.
Proven ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term architectural visionanticipatingfuture requirements and technical debt implications.
