Job Opening: HSE Supervisor Location: Bokaro Summary: The HSE Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring a safe compliant and sustainable work environment at the Bokaro site. This position is responsible for driving the implementation and enforcement of health safety and environmental (HSE) standards across all construction activities. The supervisor will proactively monitor site operations identify potential hazards and lead initiatives to prevent incidents. By fostering a strong safety culture conducting regular inspections and facilitating training sessions such as Toolbox Talks (TBT) pre-work inspections and permit reviews the HSE Supervisor ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational safety goals. The role is essential in minimizing risks improving operational safety and supporting continuous improvement in HSE performance. Responsibilities: Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures. Conduct pre-inspections of work locations and review work permits to mitigate risks. Identify document and report unsafe acts and conditions promptly. Facilitate and participate in Toolbox Talks (TBT) safety trainings and motivational safety sessions. Lead and coordinate HSE programs including mass TBTs and site-wide safety campaigns. Respond to and manage fire safety concerns and emergency preparedness protocols. Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare timely reports for management review. Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions for safety non-conformities. Requirements Requirements: Bachelors degree in Science (with Physics & Chemistry) or a diploma in Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification). Minimum of two years of direct experience in safety management within a construction environment. Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day construction safety and fire safety -depth knowledge of HSE regulations risk assessment methodologies and incident prevention practices. Strong proficiency in safety documentation inspection processes and statutory compliance (including the Factories Act). Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills with the ability to influence safety behavior across teams.
